The Cassidy Boathouse is a privately owned boathouse in South Lake Tahoe's Al Tahoe neighborhood. Dating from abt1906, the boathouse is the oldest over water boathouse on Lake Tahoe with Chambers Landing being oldest boathouse on Tahoe on a moat system. It is unclear what the boathouse was used for in the past, but it is believed that perhaps it was used to store small watercraft such as kayaks and canoes. The boathouse has always been floored-in and as such, larger crafts cannot lifted into it.
